One week down!

Well today marks my one week from surgery date, and guess what.... I'M ALREADY DOWN 10 POUNDS!!!! YAY!

Surgery

On Tuesday I took a HUGE step into this new stage in life that I have come to... I had the lap band weight loss surgery... my doctor has been telling me for the last couple of years I should try it, it may help my head problems... so at last I did! The surgery went well, I am really sore but no side effects as of yet. Oh, and by the way the lap band is totally non evasive, they didn't cut my stomach up or anything like that... its just a band that goes around the top part of my stomach an restricts the amount of food that I can eat... It was a hard decision to make, so many people look down on weight loss surgeries, for me I know it was the right thing to do... my family has always been plagued by the weight battle and I want to have mine under control while I am still young, its definantly not a quick fix, I will have alot of hard work to do, but its a tool that I have been given. So I am thinking that pretty much just people I know will be reading this... but you never know! I am entering a new stage in life, and figured I would have a blog spot, or website to track my progress or failures! I don't promise to always be interesting but I will try!
